Shipping Policy

It is my goal to get your items to you as quickly as possible! In-stock items typically ship within 1 - 3 business days. Business days exclude weekends and US government holidays.

If your order contains any pre-order items, your entire order will ship when the pre-ordered items are ready. If you require an item immediately it is recommended that you order in stock listings and pre-order listings in separate orders.

All items are ready to ship unless “pre-order” is stated in the title of the listing.

The estimated shipping date for all pre-orders is indicated in the order details. This shipping date is an estimate and subject to change. In the event that a pre-order is significantly delayed (greater than 1 week), this will be communicated in advance by email with the option to cancel your order for a full refund. See statement below for my full pre-order promise.

Megs & Co will only ship to the address provided at checkout and is not responsible for items not received due to incorrect address information or mail forwarding service issues.

US domestic orders are typically shipped using standard USPS First Class Mail, Advanced Ground or Priority Mail as appropriate based on the package weight and dimensions. Transit times are typically 2-7 days from ship date.

Orders to Canada are shipped using USPS First Class International Mail or USPS Global Priority Mail as appropriate. Megs & Co is not responsible for any import, customs, or brokerage fees that may occur.

All other international orders are processed on my Etsy site. Please contact Meg to set up a custom listing for your items.

Packages marked as delivered are solely the responsibility of the recipient. If you believe that your package has been inadvertently delivered to the wrong address, lost, or stolen, please contact your local post office and / or file a police report for assistance.

Return Policy

Shopping for yarn should ALWAYS be an enjoyable and risk free experience. If you are not satisfied with your purchase in any way please let me know immediatly so that I can make it right!

To initiate a return please contact Meg within 14 days of receipt using the contact page or by responding to your email confirmation. I will make every reasonable effort to ensure you are satisfied with your purchase.

All returns must be postmarked within 30 days of their original shipment date and returned in their original, unused, unworn, unwashed, uncaked, and smoke-free condition. All items must be returned as sent with all tags in tact.

All yarn must be in its original twisted hank form. Caked or balled yarn is not eligible for return.

Items returned with smoke odors, perfume odors, or with visible animal hair or other debris are not eligible for refund.

Returns will be processed within 3-7 business days upon receipt of the return package. Returns that do not meet the return criteria are subject to delayed processing times or denial of refund. All Returns are inspected, and all rights to deny or refuse a full refund based on the returned condition are reserved. 

The buyer is responsible for all return shipping fees. In the event of item defect or mistake with your order, a return label will be issued and a full refund given, including all shipping charges.

All custom orders and dyed to order items are final sale. Yarn caking is considered a customization and therefore a final sale.


Pre-Order Promise

At Megs & Co, I deeply value the trust you place in us when you participate in a pre-order. That’s why I approach pre-orders with transparency, responsibility, and respect for your investment.

I do not use pre-orders as a business loan. Your payment is never spent until every last order from that batch has been delivered. This ensures I’m always in a position to fulfill my obligations or issue a no-questions-asked refund if needed.

All required materials for pre-orders are already purchased and in stock before listings go live. This eliminates the risk of supply chain delays disrupting fulfillment.

Quoted ship dates always include ample buffer time to account for life's inevitable surprises. If I anticipate shipping more than one week past the quoted date, you’ll receive an email with the option to cancel your order.

I will never offer a pre-order with a ship window beyond 120 days—the standard dispute window for most payment processors—so that even in the unlikely event I become incapacitated, you still have recourse.

Pre-orders are a tool for efficient, thoughtful small-batch production—not a gamble. Thank you for supporting a business committed to doing things the right way.
