THE YARN
Illumination
An elegant blend of silk and wool creates the perfect summer yarn. Named for its lustrous shine, Illumination beckons to be wound up and created into something beautiful. This yarn is ideal for lacey shawls, light flowy tops and projects designed with a drapey fabric in mind. Silk is an incredibly strong fiber that when combined with our super soft Merino wool allows you to create a luxurious and resilient garment.

70% Superwash Merino Wool 30% Silk
Fingering / Sock Weight
438 yards / 100 grams
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Hand wash gently in cool water using a wool safe detergent such as Eucalan. Lay flat to dry. It is normal for some color to bleed from hand dyed yarns when washed for the first time; cold water will help to prevent bleeding.
FROM THE STUDIO
Each skein will vary in saturation and speckling, even if they are from the same dye batch. This is what makes hand dyed yarn so unique and special. If creating a project requiring multiple skeins of the same color, always rotate your skeins every few rows for a seamless blend of color.
